He has learned that one of the biggest ways to fool people of color is to get them to have faith and belief in something without doing proper research, for generations. This is why it is so easy to fool people who, for example, live their lives by scriptures without researching the TRUE origin of those scriptures going on mere faith and belief (because the scripture and popular culture dictate such). Truth is only for the brave, and there is only one truth from one source. These are just some of the things that this Brother has learned.

Provide a small bio: Gene Marshall joined Kevin Anderson's executive staff as Deputy Athletic Director in July 2005. As deputy athletic director at Army, Marshall's responsibilities will include oversight of all Olympic Sports Intercollegiate Sports, with direct oversight of Men's and Women's Basketball, Men's Soccer. Ice Hockey, Sprint Football and Wrestling. Marshall also has direct oversight responsibility for the External Operations component, Facilities, Team Operation, Army Sports Properties as well as Game Marketing and Promotions, Community Outreach and Broadcasting. Summer camp operation is also under his direction. Marshall recently completed a highly successful seven-year term as Director of Athletics at nearby Ramapo College (N.J.) where he oversaw the successful rebuilding of its athletic program, including six-straight years of the total teams win/loss record of at least 19 games over 500. Over the past three years, 11 out of the 17 Roadrunner athletic programs participated in postseason play, including softball - NCAA Regionals, track and field - All-America honors and men's basketball - NCAA Elite Eight and Sweet Sixteen. Academically, Ramapo's student-athlete graduation rate increased from 40% to 75% during this seven year period. Marshall also played a key role in the planning and development of the Bill Bradley Sports and Recreation Center. This 26-millon dollar state-of-the-art facility was part of Ramapo's strategic plan to upgrade the athletic facilities. Marshall also served head women's basketball coach for six years and engineered a successful turn-around of the women's basketball program. Throughout his six years, his teams advanced to the semifinal round of the Division III ECAC Tournament three times.
